Silk Shawls

 

My silk pieces are hand painted using the traditional serti gutta technique, where lines of gutta guide the flow of silk dyes across the fabric. At times I allow the paints to move more freely, letting the colours merge and flow naturally to create organic patterns.

Each piece is a balance of control and spontaneity, resulting in one-of-a-kind silk designs full of movement and colour.
